Welcome to my Science Support Wiki. This is the place where we can join together to share best practices from and for our science classes. I hope that all of you will have something to contribute to this site.
Perhaps the first thing we will discuss is "What and why is a wiki?"
Like Wikipedia, a wiki is a software application that lets a group of people collaborate on line. Depending on the purpose of the wiki and the wishes of the "owner" people cane view the site, contribute content to the site, and edit what is already there. This tool then provides a rich medium for collaboration both among peers, and also between teachers and students.
Let me know if you would like to set up a wiki to interact with your students.
